Bearing Removal Procedure

WARNING
Clean oil, outside and inside, from housingCAUTION: Always support crankcase housings properly when ball bearings, needle bearings or plain bearings are removedCrankcase housing damages may occur if this procedure is not performed correctlyTo remove bevel gear needle bearing no38 and main shaft needle bearing no39, use punch
Remove plain bearings no41 and no42 with the proper plain bearing remover (refer to CRANKSHAFTBALANCER SHAFT)To remove ball bearings no44 and no45, use blind hole bearing puller

Ball bearings no40 and no47 can be easily removed with suitable pusher from outside inThe oil seals no46, no49, no60 and no61 are removed easily with flat screwdriverNOTE: To remove oil seals no7, no34, no49, no60 and no61, the engine removaldisassembly is NOT necessary (see OIL SEAL PROCEDURE above)For ball bearing no47, remove screw no43 then push bearing from outside in with punch1 2
