Inspection
Valve Stem Seal Inspection of valve stem seals is not needed because new seals should always be installed whenever cylinder head is removedValve Inspect valve surface, check for abnormal stem wear and bendingIf out of specification, replace by new oneVALVE OUT OF ROUND NEW NOMINAL EXHAUST INTAKE 0.005 mm (.0002 in) SERVICE LIMIT EXHAUST INTAKE 0.06 mm (.0024 in) EXHAUST INTAKE EXHAUST INTAKE

Replace valve guide out of cylinder head if valve guide is out of specification or has other damages such as wear or friction surface (see VALVE GUIDE PROCEDURE below)VALVE GUIDE DIAMETER
