Section 03 ENGINE Subsection 10 (CRANKSHAFTBALANCER SHAFT)
GENERAL
To remove camshaft, the engine removal is not necessaryBut, for removal of balancer shaft or crankshaft, engine removal is necessaryAt installation, use torque values and Loctite products from the exploded viewClean threads before using Loctite products when installing screwsWhen the repair is doneTest drive to confirm all is working well
TO LOCK THE CRANKSHAFT
The following procedures can be perform with the engine in the vehicle or on the workbenchThe crankshaft is locked with the crankshaft locking bolt (PN 529 035 645)First, remove one spark plugThen, remove the rewind starter and the clutch coverRefer to the specific sections for the procedureThe hole for the crankshaft locking bolt is located under clutch drum4
