Removal
Remove the ignition coverInside ignition cover, unscrew bolts no15 and the wire support no14Unscrew bolts no3 and no13 retaining stator no4 and trigger coil no6Remove connector from magneto housing cover
NOTE: The strap wrench is available at automotive parts retailerUnscrew nut no7 retaining rotor no8NOTE: The rotor nut is left-hand threadTurn clockwise to remove it and counterclockwise to torqueRemove serrated washer no9Install magneto puller (PN 420 976 235) and crankshaft protector (PN 420 876 557) then remove rotor
