Remove overflow hose no8Remove mounting bolts no10 on the topUnplug temperature sender no3
To check thermostat, put in water and heat waterThermostat should begin to open when water temperature reaches 75C (167F)
Inspection
Check radiator air passage for clogging or damageRemove insects, mud or other obstructions with compressed air or low pressure waterCheck for any coolant leakage from radiator and hoses
Installation
For installation, reverse the removal procedure, paying attention to the following detailsInstall thermostat with new gasketInstall the thermostat cover then torque screws to Nm (80 lbfin)Check coolant level in radiator and coolant tank and top up if necessary
