Section 09 BRAKES Subsection 02 (HYDRAULIC BRAKES)
Inspection
Periodically inspect flexible brake hoses for cracks, leaks, blisters and any other damageIf any sign of deterioration is found, replace the defective part with new one
Installation
Flexible Hoses To install hoses, attach it to the caliper firstAlways use new washers on both sides of the fittingMake sure brake hoses are properly secured and that they do not come in contact with moving partsBrake Tubes Connect the brake tubes to the hose fitting but don't tighten yetInstall the tube clips no44 retaining the brake hose to the frameTighten the brake tube fitting, paying attention not to twist tubes
Rear Brake Light Switch The rear brake switch no14 is located on the top of rear master cylinderThe rear brake light switch cannot be adjustedDisconnect switch connectorsUnscrew rear brake light switch from Banjo bolt and remove switchCatch spilled fluid with rag
