HYDRAULICELECTRIC SHIFT SYSTEM
GENERAL
The electric shift system controls several valves solenoids that control the shifting and also allow an adjustment to the clutch pressure to modify the gear changeIt is possible to calibrate the clutch for the hardness or smoothness of clutching actionThis calibration is to be used when the clutch engagement is too soft or is too hardIf new GBPS (Gear Box Position Sensor) and STPS (Sub-Transmission Position Sensor) is installed, calibration is necessaryThe MPEM (MultiPurpose Electronic Module) adjust values with the new specifications of new components installedNOTE: On AUTOMATIC model, there is TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) and this calibration is necessary if it is changedThe diagnosticcalibration mode preserves in memory the previous problemsThe reset option erases the codes registered in memoryRefer to the following text for specific procedures
