Section 03 ENGINE Subsection 05 (COOLING SYSTEM)
Replacement Procedure WARNING
To prevent burning yourself do not remove the radiator cap or loosen the engine drain plug if the engine is hotDrain system completelyPinch engine outlet hose no6 between radiator and thermostat housing with large hose pincher (PN 529 032 500)
With vehicle on flat surface (except XL model), engine cold, refill radiator no1When the coolant comes out by the thermostat housing hole, reinstall the bleeding screw and remove the hose pincherInstall the pressure capNOTE: Do not forget gasket ring when bleeding screw is installedTorque bleeding screw to Nm (44 lbfin)Refill coolant tank no9 up to cold level markInstall the coolant tank capRun engine until thermostat opens then stop engineWhen engine has completely cooled down, recheck coolant level in radiator no1 and coolant tank no9 and top up if necessaryEvery six months, check coolant concentration (freezing point) with proper tester
