Assembly and Installation
The rear differential assembly is essentially the reverse of the disassembly procedurePaying attention to the following detailInstall the rear differential on the vehicle before filling oilUse specified oil, refer to TECHNICAL DATA
FRONT PROPELLER SHAFT
Removal
Remove: engine skid plate RH inner fenderRemove propeller shaft bolts and flat washersOne on engine side no17 and 18, one on differential side no19 and 20Discard boltsRemove rubber bellows no15 on the top from the front differentialPull differential forward then separate propeller shaft no16 from differential and engine
Front Differential Oil Level
Clean filler plug prior to check oil levelWith vehicle on level surface, check oil level by removing filler plugOil level must reach the lower edgeAdd oil if necessaryRefer to TECHNICAL DATA for capacity and recommended oil
Inspection
Check propeller shaft for wear or damage, replace if necessary
