CAUTION: Water pump shaft no7 and impeller no6 have left-hand threadsRemove by turning clockwise and install by turning counterclockwise
Inspection
Check impeller for cracks or other damageReplace impeller if damaged
retaining ring no8 with appropriate pliers CAUTION: Never use the retaining ring second timeAlways install new one water pump gear no9 NOTE: The water pump gear is held by needle pin on the water pump shaft
Installation
The installation is the opposite of the removal procedurePay attention to the following detailsCAUTION: Be careful not to damage impeller wings during installation
