Anti-Vibration System Installation
Insert support bushing in engine supportApply synthetic grease on anti-vibration bushings and insert them in engine support, one on each side
EXHAUST SYSTEM
WARNING
Never touch exhaust system components immediately after the engine has been run because these components are very hot
Rear Exhaust Shield To reach the rear exhaust shield no4, remove the RH engine side panel and the plastic transmission lever locator no3Unscrew bolts no20 retaining rear exhaust shield then remove shieldMuffler Shield Remove: rear fender (refer to BODY) screws no21 retaining muffler shield no22
Heat Shield Removal
Heat Shield Inspection
Check all shields for cracks or other damagesReplace if necessary
