Air Filter Removal
CAUTION: Never remove or modify any component in the air boxAlways use genuine parts when replacing air filter and foamThe engine carburation is calibrated to operate specifically with these componentsOtherwise, engine performance degradation or damage can occurRemove seatRelease clamps and remove air filter box coverPour cleaning solution into bucket, dunk the filter in multiples times until cleanRinse with warm waterNOTE: Products like Simple Greendish soap or mild solvents can be used to clean the air filterSimple Green from Sunshine Makers Incis available at hardware stores or at automotive parts retailerWhile filter soaks, clean inside of air boxNext, let the filter dry completelyWhen the filter is dried, re-oil with air filter oilIf air filter foam is dirty, replace with new oneProperly reinstall removed parts in the reverse order of their removal
