Pull fuel tank cover no26 and fuel tank backward then remove fuel tank cover

Inspection
The skid plate protects the engineCheck for damage, cracks or loosenessChange if skid plate no39 is damaged or cracked
Installation
Installation is the reverse order of removal

Removal
Foot Protector Unfasten screws nos27 and 28 then remove foot protector no29Foot Protector Support Remove foot protectorUnscrew bolts no30 retaining support no31 to the frame
Removal
Under vehicle, remove bolts no40
Installation
Installation is the reverse order of removalNOTE: Install all bolts before torquing
