Section 09 BRAKES Subsection 02 (HYDRAULIC BRAKES)
Remove: caliper bracket no32 slide pins no33 pad spring no34Place rag over pistonPlace caliper body with piston down and apply small squirts of air pressure to the fluid inlet to remove piston
BRAKE PADS
Removal
Raise vehicle and support it securelyRemove wheelsLoosen pad pins no36
WARNING
Do not use high pressure air or bring nozzle too close to inletRemove piston sealCAUTION: Be careful not to damage piston sliding surfaceClean piston grooves, caliper cylinder and piston with clean brake fluidClean slide pins with brake cleaner and rag
Inspection
If boots no35 are deteriorated or hard, replace by the new onesCheck caliper cylinder and piston for scratches, rust or other damagesIf so, replace caliperV02K0MA
