Refer to ECCENTRIC AXLE BEARING for the proper instructions concerning the bearing preload procedureApply synthetic grease (PN 293 550 019) on splinesPut the wheel hub spacer in placeInstall wheel hubPut the O-ring and washer in placePut on the wheel hub nut and tightenInstall new cotter pinBoth ends of cotter pins must be foldedInstall both rear wheels and tighten nuts to 53 Nm (39 lbfft)Put vehicle back on the groundWith driver on vehicle, adjust chain tensionTighten the rear axle lock bolts to 43 Nm (32 lbfft)
Remove brake discRefer to HYDRAULIC BRAKES
