CAUTION: Replace chain, engine sprocket and rear sprocket together to prevent rapid chain and sprockets wearInstall new tab washer each time the engine sprocket is removed
Removal
Lift the rear of vehicle and install jack stands under the frame to support the rear of vehicle off the groundRemove metallic chain guard on engineRemove chain protector no9Loosen rear axle lock bolts no12Insert adjuster lock through hub axle and into eccentric axle housingTurn the axle aheadRemove adjuster lockDetach the swing arm from the frameRefer to REAR SUSPENSIONRemove drive chain from rear sprocket no2 and engine sprocket

Installation
Installation takes place in the reverse order of removalAdjust drive chainRefer to MAINTENANCE for the proper procedure
