2Place either meter test probe into the remaining stator lead (AC-3) and note the resistance (same as step no1)If the readings are out of specification, the stator will need to be replaced
DYNAMIC TEST 1Unplug magneto wiring harness connector2On magneto side, connect test probes of the multimeter to two of the YELLOW wires3Set multimeter to Vac scale4Start engineThe obtained value should be between 10 and 12 Vac5Repeat operation times6If the stator is out of specification, replace it
