Removal
Lock crankshaft with locking bolt (PN 529 035 617)Refer to CRANKSHAFTBALANCER SHAFTRemove ignition cover no6Unscrew nut no9 retaining rotor no2Remove lock washer no10Install magneto puller (PN 420 976 235) and crankshaft protector (PN 420 876 557) then remove rotor

1Starter double gear 2Sprag clutch gear
Install lock washer and nut on crankshaft endApply Loctite 243 on threadsTorque to 180 Nm (133 lbfft)
