DYNAMIC TEST An ignition coil tester available from after-market toolequipment suppliers can be usedCAUTION: Do NOT use coil tester on metal work benchFollow manufacturer instructionsIf the ignition coil is out of specification, replace itIf it tests good ensure the wiring and connectors are in good condition then continue the other tests
Electronic Module
When every other components above have been tested and are good, the electronic module can be suspectedEnsure wiring and connectors are in good condition prior to replacing the electronic moduleTEST NOTE: On the multimeter, set measuring range from10 KMake sure that positive and negative tester probes are installed on the appropriate wiresNEGATIVE (-) TESTER LINE COLORS BL POSITIVE (+) TESTER LINE WH OR RD BK BL WH OR RD BK
