CAUTION: Although some jets can be replaced by other jets from other carburetors, such modifications shouldn't be performedThey can greatly affect engine calibration and can cause severe damage to engineUse only recommended jetting specific for this carburetor
1, CARBURETOR
Removal
Disconnect BLACK negative cable from batteryRemove seatUnplug all hoses from carburetorNOTE: To ease reinstallation, mark all hoses before unpluggingLoosen both carburetor and air box clampsPull out carburetor

Remove carburetor side cover no6Using thumb, release tension on throttle leverWith long nose pliers, rotate cable end bushing no7 so that cable aligns with throttle lever recess, then lift cable endSee next photo
