WARNING
Never disconnect harness on ignition system while engine is running
Removal
Lock crankshaft with locking bolt (PN 529 035 617)Refer to CRANKSHAFTBALANCER SHAFTRemove ignition cover no6Unscrew nut no9 retaining rotorRemove lock washer no10Install magneto puller (PN 420 976 235) and crankshaft protector (PN 420 876 557) then remove rotor
Removal
Unfasten socket screws on right engine housing coverUnfasten central screw plug no5, screw in handle (PN 529 035 622) and remove ignition cover no6
