Removal
Slack drive chainRemove pinion cover no17 and metallic chain guard no18Set the first gearUnlock retaining ring then, unscrew the retaining nutNOTE: Discard the retaining ringRemove engine pinion and drive chain together
EXHAUST SYSTEM
WARNING
Never touch exhaust system components immediately after the engine has been run because these components are very hot
