Section 08 SUSPENSION Subsection 03 (REAR SUSPENSION)
Apply grease (PN 293 550 019) to spring and splines before insert the end of the propeller shaft into swing arm
Install LH pivot boltMove the swing arm up and down several times and tighten LH pivot boltTorque LH pivot bolt to 12 Nm (9 lbfft)Install jam nut and torque to 147 Nm (108 lbfft) while holding pivot bolt
WARNING
The LH pivot bolt must have more than threads out of jam nutAttach swing arm bellows to engine and install clampTorque to Nm (4 lbfft)Reinstall master cylinderCheck brake pedal adjustmentRefer to HYDRAULIC BRAKES 09-02 for complete adjustment procedureRoute brake hose and secure to the bracketsConnect vent hoseReinstall shock absorbers
