Secure rear axle tube to swing arm with boltsDo not tighten yetWhen all bolts are installed, torque in criss-cross sequence
Unfasten TORX head screws no16 retaining axle housing from rear rigid axle center section no17Remove axle housing then pull out axle no18Inspection Check axle for wear or other damage, replace if necessaryInstallation For installation, reverse the removal procedurepaying attention to the following detailsApply grease (PN 293 550 019) on splinesTorque castellated nut no.13 to 140 Nm (103 lbfft) minimumLH SIDE AXLE Remove: wheel and wheel cap cotter pin no12 castellated nut no.13 flat washer no14 and O-ring rigid axle from vehicle Unfasten TORX head screws no20 retaining axle tube from rear rigid axle center section no17Remove axle tube then pull out axle no21Inspection Check axle for wear or other damage, replace if necessaryInstallation For installation, reverse the removal procedurepaying attention to the following detailsApply grease (PN 293 550 019) on splinesTorque castellated nut no.13 to 140 Nm (103 lbfft) minimum
