Section 04 FUEL SYSTEM Subsection 04 (AIR INTAKE SILENCER)
AIR FILTER BOX
Removal
Remove: seat air filter box cover no1 air baffle no2, air filter no3 and foam no4 Detach: breather hose no6 rear air intake tube no7 intake adaptor no8 from carburetor Unfasten bolts no5 and remove drain tubes no9 under air filter box no10Pull out the air filter box
Inspection
Inspect air intake tube for cracks, blisters or any other damageChange if necessary
Installation
For installation, reverse the removal procedure
FRONT AIR INTAKE TUBE
Removal
Remove: front fender LH inner fender Refer to BODY 10-02 Disconnect front air intake tube no12 from the sleeve no11NOTE: Before removing front air intake tube from vehicle, note tube routing for reinstallationRemove front air intake tube from vehicle
