OIL PUMP
The oil pump is located on the clutch side of the crankcase housing
OIL PUMP ROTOR AND INNER ROTOR CLEARANCE mm (in) SERVICE LIMIT 0.25 mm (0.009 in)
Removal
Remove engineRefer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION 03-02Remove clutch cover and clutch housingRefer to CLUTCH 03-09Remove: snap ring no11 oil pump gear no12 needle pin no13 thrust washer no14 oil pump cover no15 oil pump shaft no16 oil pump rotor no17 inner rotor no18
Measure oil pump rotor thickness and oil pump rotor bore depthDifference between measurements should not exceed 0.2 mm (0.007 in)If so, replace oil pump rotor
Installation
For installation, reverse the removal procedure
