TROUBLESHOOTING
Oil Level Low
external oil leak worn or incorrect piston rings installation worn valve seal oil pump worm or damaged
When the hydraulic shifter is used, the engine pressure must increase up to about 810 kPa (118 PSI)If the engine pressure is out of specifications, check the points described in LOW OR NO OIL PRESSURE section above
Low or No Oil Pressure
clogged oil orifice(s) incorrect oil being used defective oil pump leaking oil seal oil strainer
OIL CHANGE AND OIL FILTER REPLACEMENT
Oil and filter are to be replaced at the same timeOil change should be done with warm engine
WARNING
The engine oil can be very hotWait until engine oil is warmEnsure vehicle is on level surfaceClean the drain plug areaRemove dipstickPlace drain pan under the engine drain plug areaUnscrew drain plug
