Cylinder Taper Measure cylinder diameter 16 mm (58 in) from top of cylinder then half-way through and finally at 13 mm (12 in) from bottom

Inspection
Inspection of valve stem seals is not needed as new seals should always be installed whenever cylinder head is diassembled
Difference between measurements should not exceed 0.10 mm (0.004 in)If so, replace cylinderCylinder Out of Round Measure cylinder diameter in piston axis direction from top of cylinderTake an other measurement 90 from first one and compareDifference between measurements should not exceed 0.10 mm (0.004 in)If so, replace cylinder
