Section 03 ENGINE Subsection 06 (CYLINDER AND HEAD)
1, CYLINDER HEAD
Removal
Remove engine oil and coolantDisconnect temperature sensorUnplug radiator inlet hoseRemove screws retaining air boxUnscrew the clamp retaining carburetor adaptor to enginePull back the air box with carburetor assemblyRemove: exhaust pipe (refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION 03-02) valve cover no11 and gasket no12 flanged bolts no14 retaining cylinder head to cylinder base flanged nuts no13 retaining cylinder head to the engine
Installation
For installation, reverse the removal procedureInstall new gasket no15 between cylinder head and cylinder base no7Install the flanged nuts no13 in first then flanged bolts no14
2, PUSH ROD
Removal
Remove cylinder head no1Pull the push rods out of cylinder base no7
