MAGNETO
Removal
Remove engineRefer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION 03-02Install engine on engine stand (PN 529 035 646)Remove water pumpSee the instructions as followRemove: radiator outlet hose water cooling hose bolts water pump housing and rubber ring circlip on water pump shaft Unscrew water impeller, use the spaner for water pump impeller (PN 529 035 659)Turn counterclockwiseWater pump removal is completedRemove: STPS (Sub-Transmission Position Sensor) no1 all bolts retaining ignition cover ignition cover no2 gasket no3NOTE: Clean all metal component in non-ferrous metal cleanerUse Bombardier gasket remover (PN 413 708 500) or suitable equivalentRemove all socket screws no4 retaining magneto no5 to ignition cover then pull magneto
