Section 03 ENGINE Subsection 03 (COOLING SYSTEM)
When engine has completely cooled down, recheck coolant level in radiator no1 and coolant tank no9 and top up if necessaryCheck coolant concentration (freezing point) with proper tester
Installation
For installation, reverse the removal procedurePaying attention to the following detailInstall hose pincher on coolant hose at thermostat outletUnscrew bleeder on top of thermostat housingRefill radiator and when coolant overflows by the thermostat cover hole, reinstall the screw
PRESSURE CAP
Check if cap pressurizes the systemIf not, install new 90 kPa (13 PSI) cap (do not exceed this pressure)
THERMOSTAT
The thermostat is single action type
RADIATOR
Removal
Drain cooling systemRemove rear fenderRefer to BODY 10-02Remove inlet no6 and outlet no7 hosesRemoval
