EXHAUST SYSTEM
WARNING
Never touch exhaust system components immediately after the engine has been run because these components are very hot
Exhaust Pipe Removal
Remove the exhaust pipe nuts no15
Heat Shield Removal
Remove the rear fenderRefer to BODY 10-02Remove screws no21 retaining heat shield no22
Heat Shield Installation
For installation, reverse the removal procedurePaying attention to the following detailsIn first, install bottom screw then rear screw, do not tighten yetInstall the screws on top of heat shieldTorque all screws to 10 Nm (89 lbfin)
