8Inspect the axle components for correct positioning of the four clampsAlso, inspect the boots for being correctly positioned on the shaft
INSTALLING REAR DRIVE AXLE
1Push the axle shaft into the CV coupler to release the lock ring; then slide the drive axle into place in the gear case
5Secure the bearing ring with the snap ring making sure the sharp side of the snap ring faces away from the boot
