Joining Crankcase Halves 1Using rubber bands, support the connecting rods to align with the cylinder bores
5Tighten the mm cap screws to ft-lb and the mm cap screws to 20 ft-lb using the pattern shown and turning the shafts frequently to ensure there is no bindingNOTE: Rotate the shafts back and forth to ensure no binding or sticking occursGZ340
2Coat both sides with motor oil; then install the spacer washer on the crankshaft with the radius directed toward the crankshaft
