DriveshaftCoupling The following drive system components should be inspected periodically to ensure proper operationASpline lateral movement (slop)BCoupling cracked, damaged, or wornCUniversal joints worn or missing bearings
2Rotate the bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it from the light assembly; then pull straight out on the bulbPush the new bulb straight into the socket3Install the bulb and socket into the light assembly and turn clockwise to lock in place4Install the taillight-brakelight assembly on the canopy support
CHECKINGADJUSTING HEADLIGHT AIM
The headlights can be adjusted verticallyThe geometric center of the HIGH beam light zone is to be used for vertical aiming1Position the vehicle on level floor so the headlights are approximately 6.1 (20 ft) from an aiming surface (wall or similar aiming surface)NOTE: There should be an average operating load on the vehicle when adjusting the headlight aim
NutsBoltsCap Screws
Tighten all nuts, bolts, and cap screwsMake sure rivets holding components together are tightReplace all loose rivetsCare must be taken that all calibrated nuts, bolts, and cap screws are tightened to specifications
