Servicing Crankcase Components 1Inspect the crankshaft, crankshaft bearings, and connecting rod for excessive wear, damage, or discoloration2Using thickness gauge, check for the side-to-side clearance between the connecting rod and crankshaftClearance must not be greater than specifiedYT122A

6Replace all oil seals with new seals and coat wear surfaces with clean, fresh grease

3Place the crankshaft assembly on set of blocks; then using dial indicator, measure crankshaft runoutRunout must not exceed specificationsYT153A
