4Pump up the hand brake; then engage the brake lever lock5Remove the cotter pin securing the hex nut; then remove the hex nut and washer AF896D
10Remove the upper ball joint cap screws taking care not to strip the threads on the ball joint shaft; then using rubber mallet, tap the end of the axle and free it from the knuckle assemblyKX041
6Release the brake lever lockNOTE: It is not necessary to remove the brake hoses from the calipers for this procedure
7Remove the two brake calipersAccount for the four cap screws
