8Remove the cap screws securing the gear shift cover to the crankcase; then remove the gear shift coverAccount for gasket and washerNOTE: Inspect the inside of the left-side cover for any shaft washers that may have come off with the coverMake sure they are returned to their respective shaftsGZ226
