3Connect the red tester lead to the white wire on the harness side of the connector4Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position5The meter must show 12 DC voltsNOTE: If the meter shows other than specified, check the harness, connector, 30 amp fuse, and battery connections 9Connect the tester lead to the whitegreen wire in the supply harnessThe meter must show DC voltsNOTE: The 4WD and LOCK icons on the LCD should illuminateNOTE: If the voltage readings are as specified and the actuator does not function correctly, replace the actuator (see Section 6)
Front DriveDifferential Lock Actuator
NOTE: With the engine stopped and the ignition switch in the ON position, momentary "whirring" sound must be noticeable each time the selector switch is moved to 2WD and 4WDTest the switch, 30 amp fuse, and wiring connections prior to testing the actuatorNOTE: The differential must be in the unlocked position for this procedure
