Gas Tank ! WARNING
Whenever any maintenance or inspection is made on the fuel system during which there may be fuel leakage, there should be no welding, smoking, open flames, etc in the area
REMOVING

3Tighten the jam nut against the throttle cable adjuster securely; then slide the rubber boot over the adjuster
1Remove the seat2Remove the rear rack and fenders (see Section 8)3Disconnect the hose from the fuel pump to the carburetor by compressing the release on the connector4Remove the cap screws securing the gas tank to the frame5Disconnect the fuel gauge connector; then remove the gas tankCLEANING AND INSPECTING
NOTE: Whenever part is worn excessively, cracked, or damaged in any way, replacement is necessary
