2Using Crankcase SeparatorCrankshaft Remover and tapping lightly with rubber mallet, separate the crankcase halvesAccount for two alignment pins
1Remove the secondary driven shaft assembly (A) noting the location of the front and rear bearing locating pins and the center bearing locating ring

NOTE: To keep the shaftgear assemblies intact for identification, tap the shafts toward the left-side crankcase half when separating the halves
