INSPECTING OIL PUMP 1Inspect the pump for damage2It is inadvisable to remove the screw securing the pump halvesIf the oil pump is damaged, it must be replacedNOTE: The oil pump is non-serviceable component and must be replaced as complete assembly
3Place two alignment pins and the oil pump into position on the crankcase and secure with the Phillips-head screws coated with blue Loctite #243Tighten to ft-lb

NOTE: The driven pulley assembly is non-serviceable component and must be replaced as complete assemblyMD1060
