29Adjust valvetappet clearance (see Section 2)30Place the two tappet covers with O-rings into position; then install and tighten the cap screws to ft-lb MD1186
3Using an appropriate side case puller and the mm adapter, remove the left-side cover wstator assemblyAccount for the two alignment pins and the position of the shifter bracket for installing purposes
31Install the spark plug and tighten securely; then install the timing inspection plug
