6Using permanent marker of some type, mark the center of each front tire (at height parallel to the belly panel) CLEANING AND INSPECTING
NOTE: Whenever part is worn excessively, cracked, or damaged in any way, replacement is necessary
1Clean all rack components using pressure washer2Inspect all welds for cracking or bending3Inspect threaded areas of all mounting bosses for stripping4Inspect for missing decals andor reflectors
INSTALLING
1Place the rack into position on the frame and front fender panelInstall the cap screws and lock nuts and finger-tighten only2Install the two cap screws and lock nuts securing the rack to the fendersTighten all hardware securely

7Measure the distance between the marks (at height parallel to the belly panel) at the front side; then record the measurement8Push the ATV forward until the marks are parallel to the belly panel on the back side; then measure the distance between the marks9The difference in the measurements must show 1814 intoe-out (the front measurement 18-14 inmore than the rear measurement)10If the difference in the measurements is not within specifications, adjust both tie rods equally until within specificationsNOTE: Prior to locking the jam nuts, make sure the ball joints are at the center of their normal range of motion and at the correct angle
