Suspension The following suspension system components should be inspected periodically to ensure proper operationAShock absorber rods not bent, pitted, or damagedBRubber damper not cracked, broken, or missingCShock absorber body not damaged, punctured, or leakingDShock absorber eyelets not broken, bent, or crackedEShock absorber eyelet bushings not worn, deteriorated, cracked, or missingFShock absorber spring not broken or sagging
Front A-Arms
REMOVING
1Secure the ATV on support stand to elevate the front wheels; then remove the wheels
! WARNING
Make sure the ATV is solidly supported on the support stand to avoid injury
2Remove the cotter pin from the nutDiscard the cotter pin3Remove the nut securing the hub4Remove the brake caliperAccount for two cap screws
Shock Absorbers
REMOVING
1Secure the ATV on support stand to elevate the wheels and to release load on the suspension

Make sure the ATV is solidly supported on the support stand to avoid injury
2Remove the two cap screws and nuts securing each front shock absorber to the frame and the upper AarmAccount for bushings and sleeves from each
