6Pour 275 ml (9.3 fl oz) of SAE 80W-90 hypoid gear lubricant into the differential and install the filler plugTighten to 16 ft-lb7Remove the ATV from the support stand Drive Axles
REMOVING REAR DRIVE AXLES
1Secure the ATV on support stand to elevate the wheelsKC285

! WARNING
Make sure the ATV is solidly supported on the support stand to avoid injury
9Place drain pan under the ATV to contain any oil leakage; then using slide hammer, remove the drive axle
2Pump up the hand brake; then engage the brake lever lock3Remove the rear wheels4Remove the cotter pin securing the hex nut; then remove the hex nutRelease the brake lever lock5Remove the brake caliper (right side only)NOTE: Do not allow the brake caliper to hang from the hose
CAUTION
The caliper should be supportedIf the calipers are allowed to hang from the hose, damage may occur
