3With the dimmer switch in the HI position, the meter must show less than ohmNOTE: If the meter shows more than ohm of resistance, replace the switch 4With the selector switch in the 4WD position, the meter must show an open circuitNOTE: If the meter does not show as specified, replace the front drive selector switch
RESISTANCE (LO Beam)
1Connect one tester lead to the brownblack wire; then connect the other tester lead to the white wire2With the dimmer switch in the LO position, the meter must show an open circuitNOTE: If the meter reads resistance, replace the switch
VOLTAGE
NOTE: The battery must be connected when performing voltage tests
1Set the meter selector to the DC Voltage position2Connect the black tester lead to the negative battery terminal3Connect the red tester lead to the brownlavender wire on the harness side of the connector4Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position5The meter must show battery voltageNOTE: If the meter shows other than specified, check the harness, connector, 30 amp fuse, and battery connections
