Installing Left-Side Components AStarter Idler Gears BRotorFlywheel
1Place the crankshaft bearing retainer into positionApply red Loctite #271 to the three cap screwsInstall and tighten the three cap screws securelyMD1239

9Remove the shift detent cam10Remove the cam stopper assembly11Remove two starter motor cap screws

2Install the starter motor and tighten the two cap screws to ft-lb3Install the shift detent cam making sure the washer is properly positionedKC217
