12Install the oil level into engine caseNOTE: The oil level stick should be threaded into the case for checking purposes 13Remove the oil level stick; the engine oil level should be above the illustrated "L" mark but not higher than the illustrated "F" mark
CAUTION
Do not over-fill the engine with oilAlways make sure that the oil level is above the "L" mark but not higher than the "F" markCC163D

To checkservice oil strainer, see EngineTransmission
4Place the oil strainer into position beneath the crankcase and secure with the cap screwsTighten securely5Place the strainer cap into position on the strainer making sure the O-ring is properly installed; then secure with the cap screwsTighten securely

14Inspect the area around the drain plug and oil filter for leaks15Install the left-side engine cover and the seat
