CLEANING AND INSPECTING NOTE: Whenever part is worn excessively, cracked, or damaged in any way, replacement is necessary
1Clean all bumper components with parts-cleaning solvent2Inspect all welds for cracking or bendingINSTALLING 1Place the front bumper assembly into position and install the through-boltStart the lock nut and finger-tighten only2Install the existing fasteners in the upper support tubes to frame and the front rack cap screwsTighten the lock nut (from step 1) to 20 ft-lb; then tighten the cap screws securelyKC223
